About Michael

Michael has been training with weights since the late 60′s. He has been studying nutrition   for almost as long. At the young age of 63 he still works out three times a week with weights. He walks daily and fits cardio workouts in also.

He is a Certified Personal Trainer through the American Council on Exercise (ACE). Their programs are recognized by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCAA).

He is passionate about fitness and knows there is no age limit to staying in shape and mobile. His message is for the baby boomers but the same concepts and information can be used at any age.

He believes we all bear some responsibility for the obesity epidemic that is so pervasive in the world. As parents we did not pay enough attention to our children and they became overweight, mostly as adults. They in turn allowed their children to become overweight, only at a much earlier age.

Nothing hurts more than to see a seven year old child who weighs as much as a teenager. You have to wonder about the struggles they will face throughout their entire lives, and how it could have been prevented with a little guidance and attention.

He knows the only way to turn this ship around is with information and action. This site will provide the information, but it is up to each and every one of us seniors to take action. First, by implementing our own fitness routine and sticking with it. Secondly, by being a role model to our grandchildren and making exercise (of any kind) fun for them.
